I'm pretty sure you all have heard about what happened recently in Myanmar.

116,000 over deaths, 220,000 odd still missing.
The lack of food, clean water, shelter & power.
2 Million are displaced and up to 1 million are without shelter.
The spread of disease has begun with Malaria & hopefully we can all prevent the possibility of cholera & other diseases that are coming into the picture.

YOU can be a part with BIAB's newly added project: MYANMAR BLESSING BAGS.


Simply donate any or all of the following items in any quantity although large(r) quantities would be better as we are trying to prepare a delivery load that is sufficient enough to reach people.

All of the following items must be new unless otherwise stated:

1. Bottled Water
2. Nutrition bars
3. Soap and Wash Cloth
4. Canned Fish (Tuna/Sardines,etc)
5. Crackers, rice cakes
6. Blankets (can be used)
7. Water purification Pill (Purchase them at guardian pharmacy. These will ensure clean water)
8. Rehydration pills/Sachets


If you are interested in donating to this cause - then email me or blessingsinabag@gmail.com and the Blessings in a Bag team will arrange to pick the donations up from you wherever is most convenient to you.

Other than Myanmar, you can also help orphans in Cambodia.

It is simple & it wouldn't take too much of your time doing it.

1. School supplies, eg., colour pencils, notebook, bags
2. Clothings (new/old)
3. Shoes
4. Books
5. Toys
6. Blanket, mats, pillow, towels. Basically daily necessities (new/old)

I really hope anyone who reads this is willing to give a hand.
It makes me realised how fortunate we all are. I'm going t tell mom about it & pack all my usable but won't come to a need for me stuff for them.
